In this ebook I show you how to optimize a web page for the Ask Jeeves search engine in 6 easy steps.
The six simple steps are:
- Name the file name of the web page you’re optimizing after your question, adding hyphens in between the words.
For example, if your question is, "What is Ask Jeeves?" then your file name will be:
what-is-ask-jeeves.html - Use the question in the page’s TITLE tag.
For example:
<TITLE>What is Ask Jeeves?</TITLE> - Use the answer in the META description tag.
For example:
<META NAME="description" CONTENT="Ask Jeeves is a natural language, question answering and search technology."> - Use the question in a large header tag at the very top of the page.
For example:
<H1>What is Ask Jeeves?</H1> - Answer the question in the body text.
For example:
<P>Ask Jeeves is a natural language, question answering and search technology.</P> - Add links to related pages on your site, or other sites, at the bottom of the page.
That’s it! That wasn’t so tough was it? ;o)
Do you want to know what questions people are asking in the search engines?
Visit the Overture Search Term Suggestion tool. Search for keywords that questions usually start with, such as, "what, when, where, why, who, and how."
You may find popular questions with very low bids, if at all.
